The 2010 Rock 'N Race 5K Fun Run and Walk, hosted by Merrimack County Savings Bank, to support Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care is coming soon! The rockin' fun begins when the starting gun goes off at the State House in Downtown Concord. Live music and a variety of treats await runners and walkers along the 5K course which travels through downtown Concord and nearby neighborhoods.
Last year the event set a new participation record with 6,179 registered runners and walkers raising more than $320,000! Since the Rock 'N Race began in 2003, it has raised more than one million dollars to support the Payson Center for Cancer Care.
Please Note:
With more than 6,000 runners and walkers in 2009, Rock 'N Race has become a meaningful community event. We want it to stay that way and ensure everyone's safety. For that reason and to adhere to USATF rules: no bikes, roller blades, skateboards, headphones or pets will be allowed on the course.These are serious safety issues and will be enforced.
Individuals pushing strollers are prohibited from running in this event and must register as walkers.Thank you for your support! Let's Rock 'N Race!
