Trustee Profile: Jayne Millerick

Meet our Board of Trustees.

Jayne Millerick is very proud of the charitable work Concord Hospital provides in our community. As a member of our Board, she is eager to tell others about it. 

"We hear a lot in the news about budgets, funding and who gets what and how much they get."  Millerick  says, "but we don't always hear the story about all of the wonderful things Concord Hospital does to give back to the community: how it supports new mothers, how it supports people in need in Concord. 

"With a public relations background, I think my role is to help people see those gems of information and figure out how best to get the word out about them," she says.

Millerick joined our board in 2011. Previously, she was a board member of Concord Hospital Associates, a volunteer group that directs profits from the Hospital Gift Shop and HeartGifts Boutique to support the Hospital's charitable work. When her term expired, she was thrilled to be asked to consider continuing her volunteer involvement with our Trust. 

"There are a lot of people in the community who don't know what Concord Hospital does on a philanthropic level and I thought 'How better serve the community than to help get the word out about what they are doing?"

"As community members, if we understand what the Hosptial is doing to benefit us, more and more people will get involved, which is a wonderful thing." Millerick says.
