Your support of our endowment helps provide Concord Hospital with ongoing financial stability in both good times and challenging times. Endowment funds are directed to support Hospital operations and identified health needs. Most importantly, we distribute your charitable gifts in accordance with your intentions. In the past, endowment funds were directed as follows: To care for home-bound, elderly patients while also providing advanced training to medical school graduates through the James M. and Lillian D. Kennedy Endowment; To support Concord Hospital Family Health Centers and Payson Center for Cancer Care through the Michael B. Green Endowment; To help support Payson Center for Cancer Care patients with out-of-pocket expenses like gas and groceries. Our Stewardship Committee is thoughtful and intentional to ensure available funds from our endowment are used wisely.
